Packaging :
As per the RX200 , the RX75 comes in the well recognized black Wismec box , with silver branding / print on the front indicating the device contained within. Once opened you're greeted by the neat little RX75 fitted with the Amor Mini Atomiser , and 2 visible drip tips in the upper foam section.
Once the foam insert is removed from the box , you have the standard Wismec black cardboard box , however unlike the RX200 , inside this box you find the USB cable , and additional semi clear front cover and a spare 0.2 ohm triple coil head.
All in all , it's nothing short of what you've come to expect from Wismec , and truthfully , I have always liked the Reuleaux packaging. ( In my opinion of course )
Aesthetics & Build Quality :
This is where the RX75 surprised me if I am completely honest. Having seen pictures and previews of the RX75 online , I initially thought it was an awful looking mod with no idea what Wismec's intentions were. Having spent some time with the kit , my impression has changed somewhat. I really like the small form factor and ergonomics of this device. It's comfortable to hold and quite discreet too , although not to the extent of the Pico kit. Everything is well designed and manufactured. The front cover hinge works smoothly with no issue and the magnetic covers are firm and close with a nice solid click. I have also become quite fond of the front cover idea , being a bit pedantic , I severely dislike fingerprints and marks on my mods and screens and this cover is the perfect solution. Well , that is of course if you don't have to look at your puff counter every 2 seconds . Behind the front cover is a well sized , bright output 0.96" OLED screen , very similar to the display seen on the RX200S. The battery sled and screen fascia on my device came in Tiffany Blue , which is perfectly matched by the silicone o rings in the Amor Mini tank! I am a sucker for Tiffany blue! The device is fired by clicking the battery cover , much like the istick devices , however I found this firing mechanism to be better made and more responsive on the RX75. Up top on the raised section of the device is a nice little printed Reuleaux logo and a locking switch to prevent pocket firing.
Amor Mini Atomizer :
The Amor Mini is a fantastic little atomizer with almost no faults in my experience of starter kit based atomizers. It's small and compact , it looks good and it has a great amount of airflow. I'd probably go as far to say it has better flow than the Serpent Mini I owned previously. The Amor Mini comes with 0.2 Ohm triple coil heads , however is also compatible with the RBA head from the standard Amor. The tank comes with 2 extended drip tips , however I quite enjoyed using the device without one attached , ala moonshot style. The Amor mini has adjustable juice flow and a well hidden adjustable airflow at the base of the tank allowing you to really dial it in to your needs.
My only two gripes with the Amor Mini , are that the coil head is very close to the glass tank making it annoying to fill with anything larger than a unicorn tip , and secondly that the top cap is a little tight to get off , however that may loosen slightly with time. Other than that this is probably my favorite commercial starter kit atomizer I have used to date.
Flavor and Vapor :
This is where the Amor Mini really came alive. The little 0.2 ohm triple coil head means I can fire it all the way to 75w if I feel like a really warm vape , however I found my sweet spot around 40-45w. I found the 0.2ohm coil perfectly suitable for me , who prefers direct lung hits , but on that note , my wife is an MTL vaper and she loved the RX75 kit too.
The flavour is superb thanks to the small chimney and cloud production is pretty good too.
The best thing I have had with this tank is the complete LACK of spitback and gurgling. Previous tanks I used like the Lyche and Cubis suffered terribly from these problems and Wismec seem to have hit the nail on the head here. In 3 days of using this mod continuously I haven't experience spitback or gurgling once. I find myself reaching for my RX75 and Amor Mini kit very frequently at the office and in the car.
Conclusion :
The Wismec Reuleaux RX75 kit is nothing short of a fantastic starter kit. It is very well priced locally , making it a very strong choice in the starter kit segment , however , like the Pico , you are limited to the diameter tank that can be fitted to this device. Battery life seems comparable to the VTC , so you'd probably want to carry a spare around with you if this is your primary device.
Will this RX75 become as favoured as the Evic VTC Mini / Vtwo? Probably not , but based on the success of small commercial starter kits like the Pico , I think the RX75 is definitely a worthwhile addition to any vape kit.
