I've got a ziplock full from dispo's that Ive parted out, but they're all the round 6mm dia can style and consequently wont fit into the 4.5mm dia housing meant for that tiny 1.8mmx2.5mm factory one.

Recently acquired a dead Bewolk Smart pod. It had a dead vac switch which I havent seen anywhere else so had to route wires to the outside and glue on a micro switch for the fire button. Been wondering what I could convert this touch screen 30W device into. Only thing I can think of so far is to...

Ive been bald for 30yrs so no hairdryer. :-D Like baxsteen said, those small graphite snake/lizard heat pads work okay, just slow at 7w. But theres no localised heat area on the glass which might cause an issue with a glass beaker.

Yeah, would have liked a heat pad but with separation between the stir bar and rotor, the attractive force stopping the bar from crashing out is greatly reduced.

Turned the parts from a 2005 HP PSC1315 inkjet into a mag stirrer. Used just the 16V leg of the power brick feeding a pwm kit from Yebo. https://www.fort777.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=800_801_942&products_id=8085 The 4 magnets came from the Pulse V1 BF mod. Desoldered the power...

What's in your hand right now?

but does it make your Dani look small? :giggle: Reminds me of that one dude in our intake, must have been about 5 ft 5" the rifle was almost as tall as he was. Just for jokes our 2 liners would get him to stand to attention next to a bazooka.

Sweet, not that old really for a DNA board considering mine is 2020. Thanks for the update, still plenty of life left seeing that my Envy22 is still working from Jan 2016.

What's in your hand right now?

Converted my Athena Envy 22 to a squonker, just needed to mill out a new top plate for the modmaker squonking 510 and widen the hole to squeeze the bottle. Its long overdue, had it since 2016 and long since got rid of all my 22mm RTA's.

What's in your hand right now?

Basic wood before shaping. I used a 19mm forstner bit for the batt holes, Wood body is 73mm high to accommodate the 70mm pcb. The denim is just top and bottom caps 7mm thick, with the top cap pocketed underneath the 510 for a bit of clearance. The batts stay inside but can be removed if they...

Big risk of chipping, wont be able to erase the machining marks inside all the holes and a 3mm thick plate would be quite fragile.

Tried it as a last ditch, but wasnt the look I was going for, more of a dirty plum than purple. Trouble is the viscosity of epoxy creates a beading around the edges with a meniscus effect and while its fine for a name plate, it looks bad with a face plate with many cutouts. In the end I decided...

What's in your hand right now?

Finally finished my DNA250C, sort of a Dovpo Riva style with dual 18650's behind the pcb/screen. Wood is Balau decking offcut that @Resistance gave me about 6 yrs ago, top and bottom panels are denim micarta that I squeezed/cast myself. The front panel is held on with 2mm dia pins from a...

Where Do You See It Going?

Nobody is interested in eco/sustainable anything regarding vapes. Case in point is my rework of a dispo to turn it into something useful.(like an anemometer) Only 2 people here made a comment and 1 of them was the guy who helped with the coding. zero comments on Instructables which caters to...
