feels like somethings coating it...

Started noticing my tongue feels a bit odd... don't know if its the cotton... should i boil the cotton before using it

I noticed the flavors did get a bit muted so I removed and halved the cotton, put it back now it works fine still no leaking;

The cotton is directly over the coil I've had no overheating or anything bad happening yet

Also wondering how often id need to replace the cotton(store bought but it is 100% organic)
