High among my favourite books/radio series/audio books/TV series. But not the film. I hated the film.Thanks for the link / article Davy... whilst I understand the meaning of life to be other than 42 ... It will always be 42, and have the utmost respect for Douglas Adams, to which I still recommend his "trilogy" as essential reading, albeit that said "trilogy" has grown to 6 of recent, with the final one "And Another Thing" authored by Eoin Colfer.
