KUI Or Similar

Thanks @Blu_Marlin that is very kind of you :)

I already made arrangements to buy the Derringer from the guy tomorrow so might as well get the Terminator one time

Appreciate the offer :)

I have some Sony VTC's to use in the mod and a Nitcore charger

I was slightly worried with the Rouge not having air flow and the vape being on the hot side

I know with air holes the chances of it leaking is much greater which is the only down side
The rouge has plenty airflow, just it comes from the top not in front of the coil like conventional attys so don't stress.

Aah, okay didn't know that lol

Those things seem to get snatched up quick in the For Sale section so will have to wait for another to come up for sale lol

Check with VapeKing Parkwood speak to Quentin I saw a KUI there the other day could be your lucky day and it's still available
@Stroodlepuff do you still have the KUI ?

Thanks @Raslin

That makes me feel more at ease about attempting this :)

I'm still new to coil building etc but i have some kit I've been using to practice and getting help from fellow forum members

I'm also not a big fan of the unregulated mods but i am sure as long as you use decent batteries and the build quality of the mod is on par then it should be safe i guess
As long as you do not have a dead short between positive and negative, either from your coil build and/ or a faulty mod and your current draw (depends on battery voltage and coil resistance) on the batteries are within the limits of the battery you are using you will be ok. I tend to not let my battery voltage go below 3.7 volts, as per advice available on the forum. You can let the voltage go below 3.7 volts but the lower you go the less charge cycles you will get out of the battery, thats the way I understand it. Funny enough I can tell when the battery voltage has dropped by the drop in vapour production but its good to have a multimeter or volt meter handy for this. Saftey should be your first priority and as you get used to unregulated mods you will become more comfortable with it. Just don`t get complacent.

Noted, How long use do you get before a fully charged battery drops to around 3.7 V ?

Agree 1000 %, safety should always come first. i have an Efest 2100 mah battery as well so think maybe i should use that

I have a Nemisis and Freak Show RBA sitting in the cupboard that i barely used. regulated mods always seemed the safer bet to me lol

Need to get out of that so i can enjoy all the new kit that comes out :)

No problem dude. Shout if you need help with it.
As @Gazzacpt mentioned, on the Rouge the air holes are at the top. On the Rouge I got from Vape Club, as long as the wick is not packed up against the center post/feed hole it tends to drain quite quickly back down to the squonk bottle so theres not much chances of liquid being left behind in the atty.

Much appreciated @Blu_Marlin :)

Guess the true test will be when i first try use it lol

Luckily i have the 2 new flavours from Sir Vape - Fogg's on the way ;-)

No, they can go well below 3.7 without any trouble as far as I know. However, 3.7 is probably the average where mech mod users switch out their batteries - then the vape becomes too weak. That equates to between 3 to 5 ml of juice depending on the battery capacity and the resistance you vape on.

Noted, will run it for 3ML first then check voltage and so fort and see what it lands up being like :)

I`ve never really timed the use on a single battery as I rotate between three mods daily and my coil builds are around 1 ohm so one charge can last up to three days. Regulated mods are great but I just think that the simplicity of a mech mod cannot be beaten. There is no adjusting power/voltage on a mech. Your coil resistance will determine your power (Watts) and as your battery voltage drops so does you power hence the drop in vapour production. On my regulated mods I do not adjust the power/voltage settings a lot so I don’t miss that with the mech`s. Always lock your mod when you are not using it even if it’s in your pocket. I tend to remove the battery when I put my mod away. If you get tired of squonking or just want to change you can put any 510 atty, BF, RTA, RDA and clearomizers on the Terminator as long as your current draw (coil resistance and battery voltage dependent) is within the safe limits of the battery and the mod. Dont go building 0.01 ohm Ni coils;-) on the Terminator.

Wow 3 days is a lot even in that scenario, i also vape on 0.5 - 1 ohm coils so i'm happy with that

I see your point, no messing with anything, simply hit the button and fire

Wonder how my Atlantis or Subtank Mini will do on this ;-)

Lol, no worry about that as my skill level on building is very far from anything right now ;)

That’s good to know @Andre. I m not too familiar with the chemistry of the IMR`s and from my general knowledge on rechargeable SLA batteries, like the ones used in a UPS`s the lower the battery voltage the less cycle times you get out of the battery. I thought the same principle would apply to the IMR`s.

This is a very handy gadget to check

I am no battery expert, but someone somewhere did the maths and found you get the same usage time from the battery in the end, which is what matters. As long as you do not deplete the battery so low that it damages, which in the case of IMRs I believe is somewhere below 2.5V.

My coil building skills are really bad as well, not pretty but it works for me. When I started building coils, not so long ago, I started on an Aqua V1 clone with dual coils. I bought 26g Kanthal because I read about guys using it on the forum for their builds. The highest resistance on a dual coil build that I got with it was 0.3 ohms. I then went on to 28g and finally settled on 30g Kanthal for my builds. I only do single coil builds now. You need to play around with different attys, coil builds, wicking material, wicking styles, wire gauge etc to find your sweet spot. Once you do there’s no looking back. I also forgot to mention, be aware of dry hits. I vape MTL and can taste the drop off in flavour as the wick dries up and that reminds me to squonk. If you lung hit a dry wick, from what I`ve read on the forum it`s really bad. Good luck on your bottom feeding journey.

I have both 30G and 26G VaporWire thankfully so will be playing around with that, even have a coil jig now so should make things easier lol

I'm so use to dry hits on my SMOK BT50 and Subtank that i know to take it a bit easy with that combo. once it soaks again i'm good to go

Thanks Bud, appreciate the help :)

Update : Terminator bought, they only had white and was the last one so hope it looks nice

Derringer BF Atty picked up

Lets see how this pans out :)

Have fun. Let us know what you think of the squonker

Sent while vaping on Okkum my Smok M80
