Having some fun with the Trident.
The dual parallel coil. I used 7 wraps of side by side 32g kanthal around a 1.5mm id. Resistance is 0.6 ohms.
Here's some pics.
The coils are positioned as low as possible, about 0.4mm below the air holes. Result is maximum flavour with a very undramatic throat hit. I like this because I can take a 5 second lung inhale which really brings out the flavour and makes me resemble a 19 century locomotive! The "5 seconder" hits the back of the throat just perfectly.

Wowzer looks very good how long does that take to heat up?

I never ever thought I would say something like this about coils and wicks.... but that is simply a thing of beauty! Really sweet looking!

Yip you have the option of only having one airhole open and different sizes to. Very clever the way they did that.
The post holes are slotted so easy to work with.

Really good looking coils there, and even better pics. I have had my trident for almost a week now, and loving it. So nice to build on, and I find it has a very smooth vape, much smoother than the IGO-w3 which I also use.

So I built my first coils for my IGO-L.....first one was 9 wraps 28G on a 2mm screwdriver.....1.8 Ohms
Naahhh...that ain't gonna do....what is the point then?
Take 2 - 6 wraps 28G on a 2mm screwdriver - 1.3 Ohms - Booyaaa (can't really go lower on the SVD now can I)
So I wet her..... hit the SVD up to 12watts and start sucking.......Hot damn........this shit be good....real good........flavour is just awesome.......... OK go for the kill - 15 watts .....now we talking........friggin awesome
But wait..........where's the killer TH? Where's that 18MG Cuban hiding........get over here ho!!!!
My oh my!!!! That that be some serious TH!!!!!!!!!!
But wait........it's a bit tight......I'm looking for that vape *****.......not a virgin.........
So I run to the garage........out with the 2mm bits (remember @Smokyg drilled his to 2mm) stick it in the cordless drill and slowly go at it..........10 minutes later........still not through.......change bit........10 min later .........still not through.........now my patience is wearing thin.... I know it's friggin SS but this is ridiculous.......get out the machine oil and run the drill at full rpms..........
Dagnabbit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Impatience led to too much applied pressure - the bit snaps and the remaining piece scratches the damn cap!
Remove the oil...... another new drill bit....slowly...........20 min later.....still not through.........battery dies........take out the 2nd cordless........20 min later that battery dies too.......
Nou is ek keelvol!!!
Take out my 850W electric drill..............nou gaan die poppe dans.......
2 minutes later - Eureka!!!
Dagnabbit..........I hate SS burrs.....I don't care if it's mostly on the inside.....it just tears up sand paper.........????????????so out with the "dremel".
Burr is gone but it don;t look so nice now.....
Oh wait.........I have that polishing kit for the "dremel".........20 minutes later it looks good again.....
Clean and add some more 18mg Cuban and bam!!!!!!! Mother of a *****!!!!!!!!!This thing sucks like a 2 bit ***** at a porn audition!!!!!

So turned down to 12 watts and closed the hole a bit ........ Can't get used to this. Besides the 18 mg Silver (I was looking for it).......this will make my Protank 2 mini's unusable as I would have to vape the whole tank before it even resembles a hit from this.....
I don't care what you people say..... I am not going sub-ohm!
unless........I get some 3mg nic juice!!!!

btw, i went as low as 0.9ohms on my svd already and it fired perfectly

1.3 Ohm with a 2mm airhole @15 watts is enough for me thanks! What did you measure on? The SVD shows 1.1ohms but my multimeter shows 1.3ohms.
I now finally understand the Reonuts.....excuse the pun.........making me re-think this whole thing. I am considering selling all my new gear (except my beloved mpt2s' and maxi ofcourse) and just saving up for a Reo....bit pricey for me though but I can see why people go for it....drippers FTW!!!
So like you I think I will use the clearos' by day and dripper at night and to test flavours - will have to mix a dilution bottle like many here so the nic and flavour is not so overwhelming...unsure if I should still buy that RTA now......

Thanks....been coiling for a while.....I do 5 or 6 protank and or maxi coils at a time. I found that on the clearos the coils gunk up very quickly when it's a micro coil. Ofcourse the dripper is a different story and it's cotton - spread it out to maximise surface area on 6 wraps. I loved your dual coils - I have to wait for my mech to try that. Lots of experimenting to do still and very little time. HRH is not impressed - not even by the clouds. I think it's the stupid grin on my face and the amount of time spent experimenting that is irking her.....but it's all good right?
I am glad I bought this one first.........next up is definitely one with adjustable airflow. Think a Trident will be perfect.....but which Fasttech version though?
trust me bru, eventually HRH will give up the fight and realise shes fighting a loosing battle LOL
