Show us your builds - Drippers (RDAs)

Here we go, been mucking around with all kinds of traditional coils for my Igo-L, none were really doing it for me. This one works.... I call it.... The Toaster!

28g Kanthal, no wraps ;) = 0.9 ohm with rayon wick stuffed in pretty tightly between the "element" and the posts

Nice and warm, not too hot, plenty flavour and decent clouds :) Happiness

Don't have my macro lens with me at the moment... Click for a bigger pic. Second set of coils I have built. 11 wraps of 26ga. About to get some rayon on it!

Ok so today I decided to make a hybrid 400 SS mesh and organic cotton wick, wrapped with 0.5x0.1 ribbon kanthal 4 wraps working out to 1.35 ohms in my magma dripper.

I must say its producing clean ,crisp Flavor's. I'm impressed didn't expect that much flavor. Vapor production is also very good. I got the magma specifically to taste juices as I have my cloud chaser already. With this setup I think I'll be very happy for a while.

Cool, my kind of coil! Love the consistency and no random droplets flying everywhere. Tomorrow's vapemail is bringing my Magma and flat ribbon + few other goodies....can't wait!

Nice enjoy. Have fun vape hard

That is not an easy one to get looking pretty...as soon as you heat it up and it cools down there is always 1 wire not willing to play ball...but at least it looks semi-ok..

I agree, triple parallel coils are a bit tricky, but once you get them almost right, flavour is outstanding
great build by the way

i don't know @Al3x it seems kind of muted for me...my twisted 26's is still better for me..running about the same ohm.. Vapor production is ok..i'm gonna have to play with this one for a bit..

play with the id @ZortEd found my sweet spot at 2.4mm, but I did dual triple parallel I think it was 6 wraps on the plumie, and to me it had more crisp notes than the twisted builds, but did mute flavor a bit on the less vg juices.
edit - and yea it's not a cloud chasers build even at low ohms

Thnx @Gazzacpt i try... i've been playing with the "tightness" of the twist i give to my wires also.. i call that the "koeksister":D

I'm quite proud of the little coil I built last night :)

We we're chilled out on the couch watching House with the lights out. I couldn't concentrate on what was going on because I've got this idea gnawing at the inside of my skull, the chewing was getting louder and louder so I grabbed my "vape case" and started out on a new coil for my Igo-L. All I had with me was some Kanthal, a few drill bits (no drill) and a small screwdriver, but I knew I had to make this coil, now! Took a section of 32g Kanthal and folded it four ways attaching each end to a drill bit and started twisting while balancing my cell phone on my knee for light.... dayum that stuff is springy

I turned the twisted piece around a 2mm bit 4 times to give me this little 0.6 ohm gem

It heats up fast, very fast! The vape off this thing is so moist that I was thinking it was spitting juice right up the drip tip, insane!

So I hear you asking what the downside is? It is thirsty! 4 or 5 quick pulls and the rayon is bone dry... also it has made my Kayfun seem like a CE4 in comparison

Twisted 32 is all I use in my kayfun. Build between 1 and 1.5 ohm

This is my first attempt at a twisted coil... for sure going to try this in my kayfun :D

Was changing the Wick on my plumeveil just now and realised I didn't have any pics. My version of the fat bastard coil 2 26g twisted then twisted with flat ribbon kanthal. Coming in at 0.5ohm and vapes like a beast. Flavour is awesome and vapor production is similar to a dual coil setup at lower ohms
