To get them to sit in parallel you will need 2 screwdrivers, space the coils with the gap you want then insert them into the cup like you would a single coil. The only trick at this point is to get all the legs through the base of the cup, but of your legs are as straight as can be it does make things easier.Awesome.
How do you put them in parallel @BhavZ ?
Do u put 2 legs inside the insulator and 2 outside like you do for a single coil? And then make them touch?
Also, do you put a piece of cotton between the two coils ? Like a flavour wick of sorts?
So my first real coil build and testing. Rebuilding a protank 2 coil. 32g kanthal and 2mm silica wick courtesy of @ShaneW. Ohm meter read 2.3? But anyway. Just happy it actually worked lol.

Thanks guys. @Gizmo, lol I tried but they didn't stay together. Turned out like a little spring.

Look excellent @Dr Evil - should produce nice flavour with that increased surface area
Looking good my man, you are becoming a pro at this!
If you can do coiling in such small space, you will find coiling tanks & drippers as easy as pie.
@Dr Evil I really don't know, preferences are as subjective as ej-uice, beginning of the year everybody was raving about the Kayfuns, and thereafter a few others like the Squape and Aqua. I suggest you read the various reviews and decide for yourself - I use to like the Kayfun Lite and the Ithaka, but after playing with RDA's, the RTA's can't give me the same flavour experience.
Flavour is good, still breaking in the coil though, vapour is out of this world, ginormous clouds, the amount of cotton i can pack into it is amazing

Just built a 2.4ID 8wrap 1.8ohm coil on 28g kanthal in my mPT2 clone (called a rev tank mini).
The vapour is intense and the throat is perfect, still working the coil in so the flavour is slightly muted at this stage but it is getting better.
I think that 2.4ID is the max one can go in an mPT2 as it is pretty close to the stem and the base insulator.
I'm gonna try and squeeze an extra 2-3 wraps on one tomorrow, i want to hit 1.5ohms, it's gonna be a tight fit though, i agree that anything bigger than 2.4 might be a problem, i was going to go 3mm but i was scared it would touch the top
