Not discontinued.. just that a lot of FW has been found to contain fructose. Not good for inhaling apparently.

Yep, this is the specific issue:

Burn sugar and it can become acetaldehyde, a carcinogen.

The 2 biggest carcinogens in tobacco smoke are Polonium 210 -- which comes from the pesticides used to grow tobacco and not smoke itself -- and acetaldehyde which is because tobacco leaves are 20% sugar by weight.

I think the point is just to be informed, it only recently came to light about the high levels of sugar in a lot of FW, some as high as 30%.

Ja well - no-one is under the illusion that vaping is 100% safe, just a personal choice for each vaper to decide how much they want to know about what they're inhaling
