@Jabula999 - in response to your post, you have been in contact with one of our staff members in store. I have spoken to our staff members and have advised them in future to bring queries like your to my attention when handling these type of queries.
Yes we were at fault with your specific order and I believe my staff member was trying to find a solution that works for both parties. I don't believe that he was trying to "pass the buck" or put you out your way. He was looking for a workable solution.
I will personally be handling your query and will be in contact via email immediately to resolve this unfortunate matter.

@Jakey I have contacted you already via Whatsapp. Unfortunately your case - as unacceptable as it is that it has dragged this long - has been influenced by a number of factor as explained in the text messages between us. Thank you @KieranD for the timely response, I have replied to your email with my final thoughts on the issue at hand.

To all that read my post, it was a negative review regarding their after-sales support and not about a specific branch or specific pre-sale request.

As i said their service was great and the response time was on point, though the solution was not what it could have been prior to my post.


All has been resolved now, and i thank @KieranD once again for the quick response and appreciate the effort on resolving the matter.
 
More points to the Vape Cartel team. Now just friggin hurry up with the new batch of Special Reserve @KieranD I am on my last 5ml... I want to buy 500ml no jokes gonna clear the racks the day it lands.
 
Went to visit @KieranD today at his shop. It's a really nice place you have there mate. Was good to see you again and we had a nice chat. Bought some goodies and picked up an order for a friend. Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I enjoyed it. Will visit again soon.
 
Popped in this afternoon to pick up some flavours.

The chap with the beard behind the desk was very helpful and the 3 flavours he helped me pick out are all great!

Everyone was friendly and the store was a haze of vape. Exactly what I was expecting! :-D

I'll for sure be back again even if only for the great atmosphere and to restock on General Custr'd! :D
 
I have bought from Vape Cartel a few times now and the experience has been good, next day delivery for the most part except once or twice when courier guy redirected the package but not a big deal.

I want to make a small suggestion though when shipping juice, my package today contained two bottles of juice and i think inside the truck another package was sitting on top of mine, putting pressure on the plunger causing juice to escape from the top of the bottle because the dripper was overflowing, so maybe you guys can put juice in a small cardboard box instead of just in the plastic courier sleeve?

Anyway thanks for the great service and great selection of products, keep it up :)
 
I am new to the world of vaping and one interesting thing about the vaping world is the sheer number of reviews on forums, blogs, websites, YouTube, etc. I am too much of a newb to give any meaningful review of mods, tanks, liquids, etc. but I have had the pleasure of ordering twice from Vape Cartel and have had excellent service on both occasions. Everything that I wanted was in stock, which wasn't the case for other online retailers, and I was spending enough to take advantage of the free over night shipping option. On the first occasion I ordered late one afternoon but my order arrived early the next morning while on the second occasion, I ordered early in the morning and my order was delivered mid afternoon, despite choosing the free overnight option!

My only concern was around how a more secure and safe box wasn't used for shipping but I have taken this up with @KieranD and offered a contact for small corrugated boxes. I will definitely be ordering from Vape Cartel in the future...
 
Bought my first decent Vape from Vape Cartel and was easily helped to get the right mod and tank for my everyday use. Also had lots of help with picking the right flavours..

Have only had a problem with the 1 Joose-e-liqs 18 SNVL flavour that poped open and spilled everywhere when I tried to top up my vape, and then another 1 that started leaking.

Sofar I have had excellent service from them definitely the drive worth from the Vaal to Meyersdal(its also on my way 2 work)..

Again, what a great experience in the VC Store in Alberton.

Hung out with the dooooosh for a bit and restocked with my every day juice, Chubby Bubble Purp (if you haven't tried it don't, you'll be hooked)

Also managed to grab some new flavours Special Reserve #3, Rolled (OMG what a flavour), 4 Dudes - The Blue Dude (can't wait to try this new release), Mr Hardwicks Chocolate Whip.

Thanks for saving me from the catastrophe that was the N3 river yesterday!

I support the above comment regarding service and packaging. Ordering in the afternoon and having the item in hand the next morning on the other side of the country is something that makes even spending the additional R60 bucks postage worth while. Just the packaging does cause a worry as the plastic case the RDTA came in arrived cracked. Two, three or four layers of bubble wrap would have made all the difference.

I am still not complaining as the important stuff inside the box made it without a scratch. It is does make me think twice about ordering more expensive things like mods etc.

On a lighter note, receiving Vapemail wound in a couple of layers of bubble wrap and then secured with half a roll of sellotape always adds that extra bit of excitement when feverishly struggling to get to the good stuff!
 
Stopped in at the Meyersdal branch to get a SM22. Guys are all friendly and helpful. As it was my first rta, I needed a bit of a tutorial and @SEAN P was an excellent teacher. I asked quite a few stupid questions but they don't make you feel dumb but rather share knowledge and experience.
Showed me how to set everything up and even filled up my tank with a cracking Mountain Dew juice.
I highly recommend this store, the guys are top notch all the way.
 
The Cartel is one of the best in the business no doubt. Top stock, great prices, free delivery above certain amounr and most importantly first class service! They have hac a few minor mishaps here and there like forgetting to reply or sending my juice or still rocking the black sale even after christmas, but I honestly like their setup. I did prefer the old website, not fault finding but it would be great if you could revert to showing sold out on the browsing page instead of having to click an item and then seeing that it is sold out. Minor issue but just an incconvenience.

But minor issues aside, great effort guys and I hope Durban is on your list for a store! I appreciate service and respect, thank you.

For the site, we honestly needed a revamp. There are so many other stores out there that blatantly copied the site and we needed to set ourselves apart. We are aware that some of the awesome functionality has been lost on the new site, but I can assure you that this will be restored in no time at all :) I have had meeting over the past week with specialist developers who will build the site around what we want and more importantly, what you, our customers need!
 
Bought a bottle of Glazed Juice's Filled the other day from Vape cartel and I'm starting to wonder how long the stock sits on the shelves for?
I've barely touched the bottle after the first few puffs because the throat hit is so incredibly harsh.

The bottle is a 3MG nic , 70 VG/ 30 PG juice , which I've had plenty of experience with in the past and no juice , not even a 50/50 blend , gives a throat hit as harsh as this.

All indicators seem to point at the nicotine being oxidized beyond the point of becoming "peppery" as many describe.

Any hints and tips as to what I can do ? Is this juice just known to be this harsh? or has the bottle been sitting on the shelf for a year?
at R500 a bottle it's not a particularly cheap thing to just dispose of.
The liquid is a dark brown colour, but I've had juices in the past that were quite dark as well , so I cant use colour as an indicator and without being able to test taste before buying it becomes a bit of a gamble to buy juices at Vape Cartel.

I am really sorry about this unfortunate event. This juice flys off our shelves and this is the third batch we have received. These do not last more than 8-10 weeks before they are sold out and replaced. We have a strict FIFO (First In First Out) system in place to prevent stagnant stock going bad.

Filled is naturally a very dark juice so I can assure you that it has not oxidized beyond the peppery taste based on colour of the liquid.

Which store did you purchase the liquid from?

I went for this juice because of its high praise, it's the reason I was so surprised by it being so rough.
I purchased the bottle from your greenside branch.
I can bring the bottle in for the guys at the shop just to be sure that it's not just me first.

First time visit to the Vape Cartel shop in Cape Town.

Lekker vibe and loads of juice on the shelf. Nice shop and friendly service from all - including Megan.

Was great to see @capetocuba again and we had a lovely chat.

And a bonus while I was there @Zeki Hilmi and @steve popped in. We all had a laugh and chat. Was a lot of fun.
