Vape King - Retailer Reviews

Just want to give a huge shout out to @Stroodlepuff, you lady are an angel :hug:thank you so much for helping me to get Sean sorted and on his vaping journey :rock:
 
My first order placed with Vape King last Thursday and have not been impressed so far.

The package was delivered last Friday, unfortunately it was incorrect, it seems mine and another person’s packages were mixed up.

I was advised that I will receive the correct package on Monday, however I have yet to receive it. I did get an e-mail from the courier this morning stating delivery will be today.

My main gripe is the lack of communication from Vape King, since Thursday I have not received a call advising me of the current progress, I sent 2 e-mails yesterday and have yet to receive a response. Basic customer service dictates keeping the customer informed throughout the process, especially when the supplier is at fault. Except for the courier e-mail this morning I've never heard back from Vape King. This just tells me they don’t really give 2 hoots, as long as the money is safely in their account.

Please note we have been having issues with the website and due to this alot of emails sent yesterday were not recieved. If you have a look at the post on the Vape King forum you will see we are still having an issue but thankfully the email side of things is now working. I will follow up with the courier and see why you have not yet received it, They were supposed to have delivered yesterday as it was picked up from the other gentleman on Friday as we requested. It is not often that MDS does not deliver on time so I forget to check that all parcels have been sent from time to time - and at the moment I am a lone ranger here, @Gizmo is busy with exams so he is not here and the other people who work here - one is in USA and one is sick so I am running a solo show - now I know this is not an excuse but i am asking you to please try understand.

I will give the couriers a call now and get back to you within the next 15 - 20 minutes (Assuming noone arrives at the shop)

Requested delivery before 16:00 on 24 November

Update - I have spoken to MDS they said the driver will be there in 20 minutes. He could not give me a reason for not delivering yesterday no matter how much we pressed him. Please send me a PM I would like to send you a voucher code for discount on your next order. I will include the courier fees as well.
 
Just my 2 cents,the service I got from vape king up to now, was top notch.
I will, and have recommended Vape king to anybody who is in need of vape gear.
As I said just my 2 cents.
 
I too have only had great service from Vape King. The fact of life is that sometimes shit just happens and in those cases it feels like you are wronged in some way (especially if you are a vaper with vape mail on the way :--P) - but I am very sure that the guys at vape king give at least 2 hoots (;-)) and they will always come through in the end. Patience is difficult, but it always pays off in the end.
 
My experience with one of my vape king orders was seriously sub par and have me steering clear of them.

I think it was during vape week or world vaper day I made an order which included a Stingray Matt black and 3 VK4 6mg(for a friend). Order arrived a few days later and,
1. The stingray did not fit a 18650 with the supplied tube attachments and the switch was deeply scratched (I also made compaints of it being super dirty but now realise that is the nature of some lower quality clones).
2. The vk4's supplied were all 12MG yet the packing slip insde the box had 3 huge ticks for 6mg bottles put in

Now when I called Vapeking, the lady I spoke to told me thats the nature of clones and they do not guarantee them at all, but in an effort to provide service they will replace it, which I thought was silly, the product you sell is defective and I notify you immediately but it's not your problem? Then moving onto the juice she said they will replace the bottles and I must keep the 12MG bottles(To this day the liquid in those bottles remain clear, not even begun to steep, I've owned vapekings VK4 before and it turns an amber colour. Anyway she also informed me I would have to ship it back to them at my cost as that is their policy, which I was quite pissed about because their company sent me the wrong item and that is in no way my fault so why must I not foot the cost?

Ended up paying R100-00 to send it back to them, they sent me a new stingray which fitted an 18650 no problem and also didn't have a banged up switch, but they only sent me one bottle of 6mg vk4, eventhough I had informed them all bottles were wrong. So since then I've been pretty much done with them.

I am not bashing their company, but this is simply my experience with that particular order.
 
Unfortunately, I have to agree that after trying them twice and having the wrong goods delivered in one case and someone elses order the second time, I have also decided to shop elsewhere.
 
Hello Vape King - pleeeease can you follow up on my order (with the transport company?) - was expecting it on Friday, then Monday, then Tuesday... they did email me on Friday letting me know that delivery would be Monday (yesterday). No response so far to the email I sent you earlier today. I know there have been website issues, sick colleagues etc (including a change to the order from my side once as well) but the whole process for a tank and some coils has taken a pretty long time now so would really appreciate assistance

Vape King Fourways, You Kept me waiting outside your Gate for 10 Min Today when I saw a new Client go inside just as I was pulling up on Saturday 10H15. 6 cars in your Parking Lot when 30 min before 0 cars, I was early. Fug it for not opening and making me drive all that way. Last you will see of me for sure. Must have spent 6k there in last 3 months. Wanted to drop 1k there today on Juice alone... Must be doing to well?

I have always been a supporter of vape king Fourways, they very helpful people. Stroodlepuff knows all of my family members by name. Look I have been in retail for the last 8years, I know things get hectic at times but guys keep up the good work.

I haven't been dealing with Vape King Fourways for a very long time but excellent service. Thankfully I am close enough that I don't need to worry about couriers. The shop is awesome, the couches are comfy, the juice is just great and the dogs like me :). The Huskies eyes are stunning BTW.

So far I can only say great things. Thanks Vape King.

I was not in the office in the morning but I have chatted to @HappyCamper and @Gizmo and they said they opened for every customer from 09:00, they might have not heard the bell, please can you send me a PM with what it is that you wanted and I will arrange for it to be shipped to you. Thanks @Stroodlepuff. Appreciate the Reply.. I had rung the bell early at 09H40 then saw your sign stating open from 10 to 13H00 on Sat... So Thought I would run a few other errands in the area and come back... When I cam back at 10H15 saw you had 6 cars in you lot... :) and somone had just been let in ... Rang the Bell like a Mofo for 10 min :) Got Bored and left...

Anyway, I saw you website saying you closed from 23rd, so I will swing by when I can, Running low on Suicide Bunny Juice, Makes me edgy... Sorry. ;)

Compliments on the way you dealt with this complaint. Not only have you made the customer happier, but you have shown other members that VapeKing cares.
 
Been to Vapeking the weekend. Outstanding service. All questions answered, very friendly and very help full in any way.

Hey Guys, its sad they only my second post on these forums has to be this one but I am somewhat disappointed in Vape King. Ok let me start on the 15th of December I went to Vape King in Sandton to buy myself a Eleaf iStick. Got there very excited was helped very quickly, while there I decided to buy my first RDA. The lady behind the counter said that the Infinite Magma was a good idea, not knowing much about RDA's at that point I took it. So after using it for a day or 2 my iStick was battling to pick up any atty I try and put on it. Went back to Vape King Stadton explained to Warren what was happening and he reluctantly gave me a new one. Cool went home and a day or 2 later same thing started happeing.

So after hours and hours of research I was able to confirm that the Magma is a couple of mm longer than standard and that it is causing the pin in the iSick to push down to a point where it is not picking up the atomisers, also this is apparently a pretty well known issue. I am pretty sure you guys at Vape King should have know about this issue and at least let me know that it might be an issue.

Please let me know if I can come into the shop on Monday to have this sorted out for hopefully the last time.
 
But the pin on the magma is adjustable. I run a magma on my iStick all the time.

With the iStick, you have to be so so careful not to screw anything into it too tightly, otherwise you'll screw up the positive pin in the 510 connection.

Using a flat head screw driver you can adjust the centre pin on the magma so that it'll sit almost flush on the iStick.

Another thing to keep in mind with the iStick, is even through it can read resistances below 1 ohm, it often complains about there being no atomizer at anything below 1 ohm.
 
But the pin on the magma is adjustable. I run a magma on my iStick all the time.

Yes but regardless of the fact that it is adjustable even screwed in to the max its still longer than "average" compare that pin to any of your other attys and you will notice a massive difference
 
I have 2 magma clones, from 2 different manufacturers. they're both pretty typical 510's. I have a load of atomizers that have longer positive pins. Sorry my advice didn't help.
