Im thinking that brass insert has splines to stop it from rotating as you screw in the mouthpiece bits.
Turn too hard and the insert rotates causing the plastic to crack.
Seems like an educated thumb suck. :)
No its not clickbait, it really melted, so I turned the housing into a usb flashdrive.
Its basically a mech with just a pressure switch under the plastic cartomiser wired to the batt.
A closer view.
Bought this in Dec last year and occasionally take a few puffs, last time was 3 weeks ago and...
most welcome, bear in mind that they are outer face down on the print bed, did it that way to get a smoother outer surface on my glass bed.
I spose "top layer ironing" in Cura would also work, but then magnet pockets on the bottom might create problems.
I've seen those, was already discussed on the pulse aio thread, they're 0.6mm thick fascia panels and as I mentioned there, I cant hollow out my grp panels to fit them.
By basic I mean a plain 3mm thick door, no radius-ed or chamfered edges.
No magnet holes in the back either, but it should be easy enough to edit in Tinkercad.
I made mine in ABS 0.4mm layer height and 100% infill so I could sand and slice the plastic.
The door varies in thickness from 2.25mm...
I took a look in Cura and it appears to be 0.6mm thick. I didnt see the locating tabs and used google translate to read his comments.
Turns out his resin panel fell out of the "door" and this was his printed replacement.
My door is the black scalloped GRP version so this wont really be compatible.
Dont beat yourself up about it, I just paid R650 from Vaperite with no regrets.
The alldayvapes price would be R629 with shipping to Cape town, I think its something, something beach tax.
