Update on the refill:

I tried the bottom fill, what a pleasure.
Unscrew the bottom, turn the tank upside down. Stick a needle nose bottle or syringe between the driptip and the tank and fill to were the driptip screws into the bottom piece. Fit all the parts together again. Close the juice control all the way wile the tank is up side down.
Turn the tank right side up, screw into your mod, give the juice control two turns anti clock wise,to open it again, and vape
No mess no fuss

not yet after building it tonight I realized I will need to. I have to add that it gives a helluva smooth toot on a 1-2 second press but escalates to furnace mode pretty quickly!

After many, many failures, I finally have a working triple twisted 32g chimney coil on my Kafun.
Not very pretty but still functional.

Decided to give my TFV4 a rebuild.

Here are some pics of the process:

the coil: 24g kanthal; 7 wraps; 3mm ID





bought some dischem cotton pads to try it out.
decided to give the scottish wicking roll a try in this tank



coil is reading in at 0.54ohms




wick is installed



next i place the top part in check where to cut the wicks



this is how it looks once the top cap has made its mark



wicks trimmed down to size



fluff them up nicely





now screw in the top part.
notice how the wick is gently pushed down- not too much that it blocks the juice channel



firing nicely



the result: dense thick clouds



Been vaping on this setup since last night, no leaks, full on flavor and clouds
