3 weeks to go!

VapeCon 2017 preparations are going well so far. There has been a ton of work going on behind the scenes. The team has been very busy. Lots of discussions with exhibiting vendors. Lots of backward and forwarding with other suppliers to the event. Several trips to the venue for meetings, measurements and checks.

Pleased that the big building blocks are firmly in place. The venue is ready. The exhibiting vendors are sorted. International vendors are happy. Food vendors are sorted (and busy being announced). Golden Oldie deejay and Wayne Walker slots have been announced...

Now we are working on some of the finer details...

Oh yes, it's going to be mega epic!



I took this photo of what looked like a Leopard Tortoise crossing the road in the Kruger Park - late June.
Strange looking creature, very slow indeed - but gorgeous!

I can not believe I'm giving this serious thought. Road trip would force the use of the "oil burner". Room for four and plenty luggage space under the canopy, but gees, that fuel bill! Lets see, 9Km/L @ 400L @ R13/l ~ R1.3K fuel bill P/P there and back keeping it at 120 and hot boxing the whole way... Lol! Fill Up in WinelandsN1, Beaufort, Colesburg, Bloem... Who knows...?

It's been an exhausting but exciting past few days. Most of the finer details for VapeCon 2017 are falling into place. Vendor specials are well underway. We still have to announce the floorplan - that is coming soon...

I have spoken to many of the vendors over the past few days and they are all very excited and most of them are ready to rock and roll!

VapeCon 2017 is going to be very special indeed!
